"Hyakki Yakou Shou" is ongoing series of Japanese manga and there is no plan of publishing the English edition; however, I want to introduce to foreign people that its fantasic story and sensitive drawing is wonderful. I believe that it will be translated into many foreign language sooner or later.

The great ehon (picture book) artist, Yoko Sano died of cancer last week. Wish extend my sincerest condolences on the loss of her. The most impressive her work, in addition to the best selling children book in Japan, is "The Cat Who Lived One Million Times".

Just wanted, let you know a Japanese Rock Band "Asian Kung-Fu Generation" (for short: AKFG). I love their edge and solid sounds.

I just want to let you know a brilliant manga - "Memories of Emanon". It is based on a Si-Fi novel, the same tittle, but I think a sentient manga artist really contributes to figure a main character Emanon as an enigmatic but cute girl.

Where am I ? Who am I ?...When I listen to the music of DE DE MOUSE, I have always filled with somehow nostalgic feeling.

We Japanese seems to love scary stories. That is why we have lots of famous horror movies such as "Ring" or "Ju-on". However, why do we love scary stories? I don't know, but we have been familiar with that since baby-ages. I will show you such a typical scary book for babies.

I would like to introduce you my one of the most favorite Japanese anime - "Haibane Renmei".

My 1st recommendation is a Japanese illustrator, Yusuke Nakamura.
