I just wanted you to see a cute manga and anime - "Kuimi ni Todoke - From Me to You" (another tittle: Reaching You). If you have read or seen that, which girls would you like? Maybe I must be minority because I like Kurumi-chan^^
Sawako and Kazehaya
First of all, I quote the manga product description from amazon.com: Sawako Kuronuma is the perfect heroine...for a horror movie. With her jet-black hair, sinister smile and silent demeanor, she's often mistaken for Sadako, the haunting character from Ringu. Unbeknownst to but a few, behind her scary façade is a very misunderstood teenager. Shy and pure of heart, she just wants to make friends. But when Kazehaya, the most popular boy in class, befriends her, she's sure to make more than just that--she's about to make some enemies too!
As I wrote about "Ring" yesterday on my blog, Sadako is very famous as horror character. So, maybe it changed for the meaning of black straight long hair. Before that, it is like a symbol of a beauty girl, but after we saw Ring, it has meant a sort of terror. Besides that, Sawako is a basically good name because "sawa" of Chinese character means "fresh"; but resembles Sadako as its pronunciation.
This is an opening of the Manga.

Yono and Yoshida
I like this scene and I bet there are many scenes which I always filled with "setsunai" feeling with tears such as a friendship with Yano and Yoshida.
According to a description of the manga vol 2 on amazon.com: Sadako's chance to become friends with Yano and Yoshida is about to go down the drain when rumors start flying that Yano's been around the block and Yoshida's a former gang member. And the source of all this tattle? Sadako herself! Will Sadako retreat to her former life as a loner because of a simple misunderstanding?!
Kurumi-chan
The descriptions from amazon.com mentioned "enemies" earlier. One of the most tough enemies is Kurumi-chan.
From a description of the manga vol.3: Sadako's dreams come true when she finally becomes friends with her classmates, instead of scaring them off. She even gets friendly with the cutest girl in school, Kurumi. But will this innocent friendship with Kurumi make Sadako realize that her feelings for Kazehaya are more than just friendly?
And of vol4: Will the curse of Sadako leave her friendless for life? Kurumi's got it all--looks, popularity and friends. But underneath Kurumi's friendly exterior is a manipulative girl who'll do anything to get what she wants! And Sawako has the one thing Kurumi wants--Kazehaya's friendship. Could all of Kurumi's plotting really drive the two apart, or will it instead draw them even closer together?
Kurumi-chan was a center of the conspiracy for estranging Sawako from Kazehaya. Nevertheless, why do I like her? Because her conspiracy was from true love into Kazehaya, whom Kurumi-chan had been loved since Junior High School. The most favorite scene is below.

"Even if you know I'm cute, it means nothing. It means nothing when Kazehaya doesn't like me!" What "setsunai" words!
