Edge Sounds: Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Just wanted, let you know a Japanese Rock Band "Asian Kung-Fu Generation" (for short: AKFG). I love their edge and solid sounds.
Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Their famous tune is "Aru Machi no Gunjo" (English tittle: A Deep Blue City) . It is known as a insert song of a great anime movie "TEKKON KINKREET" based on Japanese manga "Black & White" (Have you read or seen them, especially the anime? It is amazing).
If you are a Japanese anime fan, you might be already listen to their song. Their early tune, "Haruka Kanata" (English tittle: Faraway) is known as an opening tune of "Naruto".
Firstly, let us see "TEKKON KINKUREET" and listen to "Aru Machi no Gunjo" on Youtube.
TEKKON KINKREET
In my case, most favorite of AKFG's tunes are "Rewrite", "Re:Re:", or "Roupe & Roupe". All of them are from a CD "Sol-Fa". I found them on Youtube. Besides that, all of them are live performances. They are so cool.
In addition, As I mentioned on my past blog: "1st recommendation: Yusuke Nakamura", all of AKFG's CD jackets are illustrated by Yusuke Nakamura. I really love Nakamura's illustration, especially figures of young girls - cute and exotic! I attached their CD jackets including single and maxi CD.
